LIFE STORY

Born in Jerusalem on September 3, 1976, to American parents Reuven E. Schmalz and Elizabeth M. Schmalz (Dugger), Shoshanna carries a legacy of spiritual exploration and leadership. As the third of five children and the great-granddaughter of Andrew N. Dugger—a renowned author, religious minister, and leader of the Church of God Seventh Day—her family’s move to Jerusalem was inspired by a profound, life-changing premonition that shaped their spiritual path.

Shoshanna’s early life was marked by movement and exploration. At just two years old, her family relocated from Israel back to the United States, living in rural Montana, Oregon, Arkansas, and eventually California. When she was eight her and her entire family converted to Judaism and lived in a tight knit Chabad community. At twelve, they returned to Israel and after living in many different places in the country finally settled in the Galilee. Each place left its imprint, offering her a rich tapestry of experiences and deepening her understanding of the world’s diversity. Although her religious back ground deeply influenced her being, today Shoshanna considers herself a free spirited, truth seeker with a direct connection to the creator beyond the confines of religion.

Among her most cherished childhood memories are the years spent in the forests of Arkansas, between the ages of four and eight. Living in a small mountain cabin, far from society, Shoshanna and her family raised goats, grew their own food, and gathered spring water for drinking—an experience that fostered a profound connection to nature. This period nurtured her innate sense of peace, clarity, and oneness with the natural world.

The constant movement of her youth taught Shoshanna that belonging isn’t tied to a place but to a state of being. Each new environment revealed different ways of living and thinking, opening her mind to the vastness of human experience. This adaptability sparked a lifelong curiosity about human nature, perception, and the invisible beliefs that shape our lives.

At 20, Shoshanna married and later embraced the journey of motherhood, raising four beautiful children. After 20 years, she transitioned into a new chapter of independence and growth.

Shoshanna’s formal studies in Interactive Communications and Dynamic Graphic Arts reflect her creative spirit, but her true calling lies in helping others awaken to their highest selves. Through her work, she empowers individuals to release limiting beliefs, reconnect with their true essence, and rise into their fullest potential— a return to clarity, freedom, and inner peace.
